About us

South Valley Physical Therapy is at the forefront of treatment of neurologic and vestibular disorders in the Denver area, and has been for over 30 years. This is a unique opportunity to join a patient-centric team of collaborative and experienced PTs in a clinic with very low PT turn over. We have recently moved to a beautiful new clinic specifically designed for our patient population.

The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who is passionate about delivering high quality care and making a real difference in the lives of people with neurologic and vestibular disorders and wants to learn!

Responsibilities:

Outpatient setting 4 days/week

1:1 PT to patient care, mostly 45 min sessions, 8-10 patients/day

Assess each patient and develop a customized treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames for a wide variety of neurologic diagnoses with an emphasis on vestibular therapy, orthopedic skills also integrated into this patient population

Focus on balance and sensory integration

Will be trained to use specialized equipment: LiteGait, EMG for biofeedback, video-oculography, Proprio 4000: surface perturbation balance training, and optokinetics

Opportunities may include: being a Clinical Instructor or mentoring other PTs, engaging in research, treating professional athletes, providing telehealth and more

Participate in reviewing literature and collaborating with other local and national medical experts to provide highest standard of care

Qualifications:

Must have experience with neurologic population, from any practice setting

Experience with vestibular rehab is not required, but a strong interest in treating this population is necessary, and extensive training will be provided

Excellent communication skills and flexibility are keys to success in this setting

An interest in professional growth, on-going mentorship, continuing education, and must be self-driven

Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program

Colorado state PT license

Salary: per experience
