Denver Botanic Gardens is currently seeking a Full Time Community Partnerships Coordinator in our Marketing & Social Responsibility Department Name Department! Read below to see if the requirements might be a good fit for you: Position Summary The Community Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and managing key programs and initiatives at Denver Botanic Gardens, including the Clinton Family Fund Go2Gardens Shuttle Program. This position involves creating and managing outreach programs, acting as a liaison with community organizations and leading efforts to enhance access to the Garden. The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams to align partnership activities with Denver Botanic Gardens' objectives and coordinate joint events and initiatives. Additionally, the position includes tracking partnership outcomes, reporting on their impact, and continuously seeking new opportunities to strengthen community relationships. Requirements General Duties and Responsibilities Schedules, manages, and coordinates the logistics of all aspects of the Go2Gardens shuttle program, including on-site and off-site programs and events. Collects and analyzes feedback, stories and testimonials from community members and stakeholders. Conducts research to identify community needs and opportunities, and track metrics to measure the impact of engagement initiatives. Oversees the staff Engagement Committee and coordinates IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) initiatives. Works collaboratively with the Engagement and Outreach Coordinator to plan, execute and evaluate internal and external events. Maintains the community partner database and handles administrative tasks like budgeting and managing the community relations inbox. Works collaboratively with other departments to build cross-disciplinary programming that addresses multiple audiences. Coordinates the logistics of partnership activities, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working toward common objectives. Engages with key stakeholders, including board members, donors and community leaders, to strengthen and support partnerships. Works with partners to secure resources such as funding, in-kind donations, volunteers and other support that benefits Denver Botanic Gardens. Regular attendance at the worksite may be required. As with all positions at Denver Botanic Gardens, the incumbent must be in good performance standing to be eligible for remote work. Remote work is at the discretion of management at all times. Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have proven excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills in dealing with the public. Ability to maintain stability under pressure and able to deal well with stressful situations. Ability to be flexible and willing to modify plans, when necessary, throughout the day. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and Teams. Ability to work overtime as necessary. Must be a positive representative of the Gardens both internally and externally at all times. Must work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and the public. Must be committed to working safely at all times. Experience/Education: Bachelors degree marketing, communications, event planning or related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, event planning or related experience required. Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly desirable. Proven track record of working effectively with diverse audiences, spanning from young children to senior adults. Travel: Up to 10% travel required. Requires the ability to travel to remote locations (or other Garden locations) where environment may vary significantly.
