Job description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Red Team Space/Counterspace Analyst (OPINTEL) to perform, document, and track the following J2 Space/Counter-Space (OPINTEL) All-Source Analytical support - as defined by the Defense Intelligence Agency analytical standards - of foreign space and counter-space strategy, doctrine, forces, activities, and capabilities, including, but not limited to, civilian and military organizations, command structure, leadership, and communications. Responsibilities: Conducts daily analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explore national security issues and regional or functional developments. Provides future and operational planning efforts, including the analysis of strategic direction, visualization of the strategic environment, assessment of significant strategic and operational challenges, identification of potential opportunities and nonlinear implications, and an assessment of risks. Possesses knowledge in line with defined experience levels of the Unified Command Plan, Combatant Command Relationships, USSPACECOM command relationships, and requisite joint operating concepts and policies. Communicates in oral and written correspondence with respect at all levels of Government and interact with senior officials and general and flag officers formally and informally. Develops analyses to aid in the refinement of USSPACECOM counter-space warning problems and associated indicators. Required: TS/SCI with active CI POLY Masters degree or equivalent work experience and at least 12 years of relevant experience. Or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
