Our NORAD Operations Group Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided: • Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space. • Mitigation of orbital conflicts. • Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities. • Operations and maintenance of classified communications. • Software development and integration. NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at: • Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado • Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado • Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska • Vandenberg Space Force Base, California • Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world Description of Duties: The Process Improvement Lead supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will: The Process Improvement Manager enhances key business processes across the NISSC II organization to efficiently, and effectively, scale impact and support our critical mission. This role involves leading a team of Process Improvement Specialists and managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Overseeing the creation, management, and refinement of all organizational processes. • Supporting business plan development across technical and non-technical disciplines. • Ensuring Program AS9115 compliance by maintaining a process hierarchy, chairing process review boards, and supporting the local Business Management System development. • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending solutions to senior leadership. • Designing automated workflows and tools to streamline organizational operations. • Coordinating projects with managers and staff. • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement. • Working closely with the Performance Management Team (MA/QA) to ensure holistic process lifecycle management across the contract. • Capture and analyze metrics to support evaluation of process effectiveness. The successful candidate will: • Continuous improvement mindset. • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills. • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and work with limited direction. Here's what you'll need: Basic Requirements: • Clearance: Secret • 5 years directly related experience leading teams and prioritizing resources across multiple complex projects. • 7 years general work experience • Experience managing of ISO9001 or CMMI level 2 or above program. • Experience as a quality management representative or management system representative. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification • Experience conducting high-visibility briefings and reviews with senior management. Desired Requirements: • Experience with DoD contracts. • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. • Experience in an Information Technology Services environment. • Experience interfacing between technical and non-technical leadership to achieve organizational objectives. • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt This position is expected to pay $125,000 - $165,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
