Job description

LinQuest is seeking a Mission Analytics Team Lead to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Successful candidates should have experience developing and implementing automation, machine learning, and analysis products to solve various problems across multiple domains. Experience and familiarity with the space domain is preferred. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Responsibilities: Day to day this person will be leading a team of data scientists and analysts and helping them deploy software solutions. This person will also be personally responsible to develop and deploy python software tools as well.
Understanding customer requirements, adjusting development efforts and techniques to meet those requirements, and effectively communicating results
Developing and implementing algorithms, data structures and applications to solve various problems across multiple domains
Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
Mentor junior developers and Operations Research analysts on current software lifecycle best practices
Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree inoperationsresearch, computer science,or related technical field
10+ years of experience
Experience with Python
Experience with System Design
Experience developing and implementing automation and AI/ML algorithms
High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and development stacks in response to govt customer needs
Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Preferred Experience: A Masters or Ph.D. inoperationsresearch, computer science, or a theoretical science field
15+ years of experience
Experience in DoD space and joint force programs
Experience with the Warp Core and/or Envision platforms
Experience with data structures, design patterns, CICD, and system architecture
Experience with rational and no-SQL database systemsCompensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $160,000 to $180,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
