Position Title: Facilities Engineering and Operations (FE&O) Configuration Management (CM) Analyst/Specialist Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO Relocation Assistance: None available at this time Remote/Telework: NO - Not available for this position Clearance Type: DoD Secret Shift: Day shift (Mon-Fri) Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time Description of Duties: The Facilities Engineering and Operations (FE&O) Configuration Management (CM) Analyst/Specialist supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: • Support all contractor and government level configuration control boards. • Participate and support dynamically changing CM program that is fast paced and evolving organization. • Monitor change request throughout their lifecycle and work with requestors to ensure CM requirements are met. • Support and help manage processing, reviewing, categorizing and documenting CM activities for government and contractor review boards, and working with control facilitators to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness of documentation. • Coordinate site surveys as part of CM audits to validate system data. • Coordinate and support FE&O CM Team members with quarterly configuration audits. • Coordinate with Quality Control to resolve assigned findings. • Contribute to developing CM processes, work instructions and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with • IRES and Government CM policies, plans and procedures. • Train any and all CM processes both internally or external to the FE&O organization. • Support organizational process improvement initiatives. • Perform other duties as assigned . The successful candidate will: • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple CM tasks and projects in fast-paced environment. Here's what you'll need: Basic Requirements: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 4 years of general experience; Master's degree and 2 years of general experience • Must have a total of 5 years of experience in: infrastructure facility system Configuration Management experience, and/or Construction management. Including: CM planning and management, identifying and baselining configuration items (CI), configuration status accounting, and CM verification and validation. • Be able to climb a ladder. • Be able to go beneath elevated floor areas. • Must be able to lift 40lbs. • Experience understanding EIA-649-C. • Must have or be able to obtain Secret Security clearance. Desired Requirements: • Be self-driven to continuously learn and identify areas of improvement in the FE&O CM process. • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Be able to follow documented processes and procedures and provide feedback to update as necessary. • Work well with a team environment. • Experience using BMC Remedy. • Experience developing and presenting training documentation. • Experience writing process documents. • Experience tracking and providing CM related data for metrics purposes. • Experience developing and auditing baseline configurations. This position is expected to pay $86,500 - $111,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
