Sr. Principal network Administrators, is a 24x7 Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time system applications. Be part of a diverse and professional team maintaining innovative and complex systems in a structured configuration-controlled environment. Opportunities allow for both individual activities and collaborative efforts in a flexible environment to enhance and innovate these complex systems.
What You Will Do:
- Demonstrable real-world experience in network configuration and management of critical network environments
- Troubleshooting network architecture to include network interfaces and firewalls, and make recommendations for system findings and enhancements
- Assist with design/upgrade and implementation of network infrastructure
- Set up and maintain network equipment to include switches, routers and firewalls
- Perform updates, patching, and baseline changes to adhere to Information Security requirements, policies, and standards
- Must be able to work off- hours, experience with 24x7 operational systems
- Up to 5% travel
- 100% onsite
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a bachelor's and a minimum of 8 years of prior network administration experience or a master degree and 5 years of direct experience
- Experience in network configuration and management, including devices such as Cisco ASAs, Routers, and Switches
- Experience with multilayer switching and VLANs
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time systems on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract
- Experience with 24x7 operational systems
- Experience interfacing with external services for DNS, NTP, and others
- Experience formalizing, developing, and writing requirements, plans, and procedures based on customer, briefings, interactions, and statements of work
- Experience developing system-level designs, high-level control and data interfaces
- Experience designing and setting up networks and data centers
- Familiarity with CISCO Spine-Leaf network topology/architecture
- Experience and/or knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, Multicast and UDP

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
