Westway Services Group LLC is currently seeking an experienced and motivated information technology manager to support a facility in Aurora, Colorado. A successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team and overseeing the overall health of the customer provisioned TS/SCI Network. The IT manager must demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry's best practices and evidence a professional history of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems. The IT manager will be knowledgeable of all aspects of the network and provide technical guidance to a team of people possessing various knowledge. Further, the IT manager will need to be customer orientated as they will interact daily with staff and tenants. Key Requirements and Qualifications: • Develop planned activities and validate work completion during billing cycle.
• Manage IT staff and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Select qualified replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
• Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems to optimally function/operate.
• Assure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and customer regulations.
• Develop and maintain a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
• Ensure security patches and vulnerabilities on associated networks are current/updated.
• Serve as Data Transfer Official (DTO) and oversee DTO process for network integrity Skills and Knowledge Required:
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Meticulous and superior attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fluid and dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and across organizational elements.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of demonstrated security experience. Adequate and relevant experience in Information Assurance and/or Information Systems security roles may be substituted for educational requirements.
• MUST possess and be in good standing with industry standard IA certification (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM etc.).
• Security+ Certification
• MUST have and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and possess or willing to take a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full-scope polygraph. Preferred Qualifications:
• CCNA or other industry IT certifications.
• NRO experience is a plus.
• Full-Scope or Counterintelligence (polygraph).
• Knowledge of the NISPOM, DCID's, ICD's, NIST and other applicable government security directives associated with SCI programs is a plus.
