The Valet Supervisor is essential in creating exceptional guest experience by leading the daily operations of our guest services team. This role involves greeting and assisting guests, coordinating luggage services, providing information about the hotel and local attractions, and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. The Supervisor also trains and guides team members to uphold excellent service standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Ambassador team to ensure smooth guest interactions
  • Oversee valet services, including efficient and safe vehicle parking for guests
  • Coordinate the flow of vehicle arrivals and departures to ensure timely service
  • Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and retrieval times
  • Train valet attendants in parking procedures and customer service best practices
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns related to valet and guest services
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the valet area
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols for all valet operations
  • Manage inventory and upkeep of valet equipment and supplies
  • Address and resolve guest disputes or issues regarding valet services
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Stay informed on local events and road closures impacting valet services
  • Foster a positive team environment and promote teamwork among valet and ambassador staff
  • Train, mentor, and supervise team members to deliver consistent, outstanding guest service

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in valet parking, with prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven ability to handle guest complaints with poise and professionalism
  • Possess a valid state driver's license and safely drive guest vehicles and/or shuttle van
  • Have proof of safe driving record as indicated by Motor Vehicle Record
