Job description

Seeking a developer in Articulate Storyline to aid in the development of a range of online training content. This individual's overall goal is to be able to take a written script with supporting visual materials and create online training content within Articulate Storyline to Honda's standards.

This position is 100% onsite at American Honda's Torrance, CA campus.

Responsibilities

  • Create online content using Articulate Storyline 360 authoring tool.

  • Create animation and visuals within the limits of the Articulate Storyline.

  • Develop assessments (e.g. tests, quizzes, etc.) to measure learning effectiveness.

  • Maintain an organized set of project documents and files.

    Skills

  • Visualizing instructional graphics, user interface, and finalized output.

  • Ability to understand story boards as written by in-house instructional designers.

  • Ability to produce best in class animations and positioning of assets to help drive learning outcomes.

  • Operating in a dynamic team environment and being flexible with changes.

  • Ability to proficiently use MS Office, and selected Adobe and Articulate products.

  • Communicating effectively, attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Knowledge & Experience

  • Two or more years using Articulate Storyline to develop online training.

  • Experience working on eLearning courses using graphics and narrations.

  • Direct experience with or knowledge of dealership retail operations (preferred).

  • Knowledge of automotive vehicle systems (preferred).

    Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
