Job description

We are looking for a full-time or part-time, dynamic, creative and committed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our interdisciplinary therapy team comprised of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior analysts, child development specialists, behavior technicians, and marriage & family therapists.
Position entails a flexible work schedule, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) with children ages 2 years to 18 years of age with varying disabilities.
Assessments may be provided within client's homes and the community throughout Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita, as well as in our Tarzana or Valencia clinics.
Duties:
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
Review and analysis data
Write reports
Provide parent education and training during the FBA
Collaborate with team members
Attend Family Team Meetings
Minimum Requirements:
Active BCBA certification, is required
Familiarity with verbal behavior, including VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R a plus, but not required
Extensive implementation experience in behavior treatment planning using applied behavior analysis evidence-based treatments
Excellent written communication
Strong Time management Skills
Previous pediatric treatment experience required
Must have a reliable car, proof of auto insurance and a valid driver's license
Proof of immunization records and TB required
CPR certification is preferred
Desirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills. Multilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Assessment activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child size
Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required
Sudden and quick movements may be required
Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes
Compensation: $70,000 - $76,000 annual salary
