Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We're looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and preparing to launch commercial service in 2025.

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a passion for learning and growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis and reporting skills, a firm understanding and accounting principles, and superb analytical capabilities. Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential. This role requires a balance between precision and efficiency in a dynamic, results-oriented environment. Over time, the candidate will expand their expertise to provide financial support across various finance areas including manufacturing operations, R&D or in developing our future
airline business.

Responsibilities:
Create clear and impactful reports that effectively communicate analysis results and key insights to non-finance personnel and the management team

Optimize and adapt our financial analysis software to improve efficiency in both processes and analysis

Analyze financial results thoroughly, identify underlying drivers, and forecast business operations accurately

Identify and communicate trends to assist the management team in making timely, informed decisions

Support day-to-day reporting and analytic requests with accurate and timely information

Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial results and assist in year-end financial audits

Develop and improve the long-term business models

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the business

Required:
3+ years of experience in financial analysis or business systems

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science (with an emphasis on Finance)

Working knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365

Strong customer-centric approach

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Exceptional attention to detail

A proactive mindset with a drive to overcome challenges and deliver results

Effective collaboration and communication skills

Desired:
Administration experience with FP&A tools (Hyperion, OneStream, Vena)

Significant experience with BI reporting tools

EEO:
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $70,800 - $117,500/year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
