Program Manager - IT (India)

Role Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead program management for IT projects, supporting clients in the technology and digital transformation space. You will be responsible for establishing reporting processes and creating direct channels with onsite Program Managers (PgMs), ensuring successful delivery, optimal resource allocation, and strategic alignment across IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Program Oversight and Coordination

Act as the primary contact for onsite IT Program Managers handling various client accounts.

Coordinate regular updates, align on project goals, and ensure the delivery of critical IT outcomes across multiple verticals.

Strategic Alignment and Reporting

Design reporting systems for PgMs to track IT project metrics, risk factors, and KPIs.

Ensure program objectives are met across technology-focused projects, aligning with organizational and client-specific goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with PgMs, IT stakeholders, and client representatives to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Communicate program status with senior stakeholders to address challenges and secure alignment on tech priorities.

Risk Management and Resource Allocation

Identify risks such as cybersecurity vulnerabilities or resource shortages and manage dependencies across projects.

Oversee resource planning to ensure smooth execution across IT infrastructure, software, and digital transformation projects.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

Integrate program management best practices for IT projects to drive operational efficiency.

Foster continuous improvement by evaluating tech project performance and applying lessons learned.

Qualifications:

Experience: 8+ years in Program Management or IT leadership roles, with a strong track record in IT services or digital transformation.

Industry Knowledge: Expertise in IT program management, with familiarity in areas like software development, cloud infrastructure, and digital solutions.

Leadership: Skilled in managing cross-functional IT teams and projects.

Communication Skills: Strong executive-level communication skills for complex, multi-stakeholder IT environments.

Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent, with additional IT program management or agile certifications preferred.
