Manager, Talent and Organization Effectiveness Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive development and execution of enterprise talent management programs including the program framework, strategy, roadmap, adoption mechanisms and progress against the definition of success (example of programs career management, talent flow)
  • Support design and development and drive execution of the enterprise level talent review and succession planning approach, program management, analytics, executive presentations, and integration with systems to enable scaling.
  • Support development and drive execution of organization effectiveness initiatives with a focus on defining the developing the program framework, strategy, roadmap, with a focus on enabling the organization Leadership Group as a key lever for adoption.
  • Drive the development, execution, and communication of the group strategy, budget, and dashboard for the various audiences
  • Consult on organization design, change management, talent performance challenges in partnership with HR leaders and client groups to orchestrate organization effectiveness programs that enable company strategy and goals.
  • Own and manage channels to build relationship and communication to People Managers including analysis of needs, program development, partnership with Corporate Communication, and execution of cadence.
  • Own and manage channels of relationship, capability building, and communication for People Business Partners including analysis of needs, program development, and execution of cadence.
Foundational Capabilities:
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand business needs, conduct current state baseline, define business case, develop program framework, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the context and needs of the organization.
  • Data/Analytical Judgment: Demonstrated ability to work with existing information systems to gather and analyze data, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data; draw actionable insights, and develop a coherent story/presentation to drive action.
  • Organization Acumen/Temperament: Self-drive and initiative to operate with optimal direction, push through challenges and periods of uncertainty and lack of clarity, courage to provide honest opinion even when it is unpopular, flexible to course correct on the means while being focused on the ends, influence leadership (up to VP level). Proficient in program management. Focused on team success and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Technical Knowledge: Focused on the science behind the practices and programs and demonstrated ability to build and/or connect practices, processes, and systems. Ability to develop fit for purpose solutions with a bias toward simple/minimum viable solutions that can be adopted within the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, learning and development, information technology, human resources, business administration, finance, communications, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in mid to large size companies
  • Experience working end-to-end talent and/or organization effectiveness solutions
  • Program management of large-scale initiatives
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interacting with data, reports, and information systems
  • Onsite presence twice weekly in San Rafael, CA
Preferred requirements:
  • Mix of strategy or human capital consulting and industry experience
  • Global experience
