Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: San Marcos

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, assist the a/p specialist to perform accounting functions related to the processing of accounts payables. Responsible for general accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations. Assist with fiscal monthly close and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum in accounting environment, matching invoices, coding and assisting in preparation for accounts payables.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer proficiency with Excel.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable transportation, proof of insurance, CA driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
• Will be the back up to drive cash deposits to the bank.
