We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in staffing and agency environments to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment and employee relations processes.

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes with a particular focus on recruitment and staffing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and assisting department managers and employees regarding personnel issues; and maintain personnel records in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

Act as the primary contact for employee relations, resolving conflicts fairly and promoting a positive workplace.

HR Policies & Compliance:

Develop, update, and enforce HR policies to ensure compliance with laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO). Conduct audits and lead annual handbook reviews to maintain up-to-date policies.

Performance Management:

Oversee performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans. Support managers in handling performance issues and ensure consistent appraisals aligned with company goals.

HR Administration:

Manage personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and workers' compensation, as well as return-to-work processes.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and analyze HR metrics, providing data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve workforce strategies.

Training & Development:

Ensure training opportunities are available and collaborate with department managers to implement employee development plans that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.

HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of HR experience in employee relations, performance management, and policy development.

Proven experience managing HR compliance, benefits, and employee engagement.

Experience in staffing or agency environments is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HR laws and practices, proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Paychex, Paycor), and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide data-driven insights.

Leadership:

Experience advising senior management on HR strategy and workforce planning.

Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
