Dr. Bonny's Occupational Therapy, Inc. is currently seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA for In-Home based early intervention occupational therapy in the_ San Gabriel/Pomona, West LA county and North Hollywood areas. _

We are seeking a new Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Ideal opportunity to provide quality one-on-one intervention for children with a wide range of developmental disorders. bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team providing quality pediatric evaluations and treatments to young children. We are searching for a passionate, motivated pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA who has specialties in working with the birth to 3 years old early intervention ranges, as well as experience with OT feeding and sensory integration. Pay: $57.00 - $77.00 per hour/per session

Schedule:

Altadena, Sierra Madre, Pasadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, El Monte, Basset, Hacienda Heights. Walnut, Diamond Bar, La Puente, Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights, West Covina, Covina, San Dimas, Glendora, Azusa, Pomona, and other areas.

West LA Valley:

Wilshire-Mid Central LA, West Hollywood and Korea Town, iInglewood, Compton, Westmont, Westchester, La Brea, Hollywood, Downtown LA, Silverlake, Pasadena, Burbank and Glendale, and more areas.

We are looking for a full-time /part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA to join our collaborative interdisciplinary team. Desirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills. Supervision and Support

Supervision is provided by a licensed and certified Doctor of Occupational Therapist. Clinic and In-home scheduling is completed by the administrative staff.

Duties

The following specification provides a summary of the typical job duties performed, along with the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.

Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers.

Assessing the home, school and work environments of the client.

Helping children take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.

Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.

Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.

Educating on the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment
Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited program whose curriculum follows guidelines set forth by the AOTA.

License/Certification:
COTA License
