The VAS Strategy & Planning team supports the Value-Added Services division of Visa.

The team supports the Global Head of Value-Added Services and broader leadership team to (1) develop and refine the overarching strategy of the division, (2) lead special projects and initiatives, and (3) respond to matters that require executive attention.

The team sits at the intersection of many geographies, product organizations, and business units, requiring organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills. This is a unique opportunity to drive the organizational excellence of Visa's business while collaborating with executives on a regular basis.

This role reports to the VP, Strategy & Planning for Value-Added ervices.

Job responsibilities:

Lead projects related to long-range strategy development and assessments of significant opportunities - including potential acquisitions - and threats.

Structure and solve business problems by collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders. Organize and prioritize critical information, issues, and data to facilitate efficient decision making. Build out unique, creative, and impactful recommendations.

Design and manage major planning activities, which may include annual strategy development and objective and key results (OKR) formulation, ongoing business performance and resource allocation checkpoints, or various other activities such as reporting.

Coordinate with functional partners to design and manage key reports that meet the goals of the leadership team. Proactively review a subset of reports/updates to flag areas that require executive attention.

Lead the creation of materials for various meetings such as Board meetings, executive forums, and external client councils/forums.

Manage subset of team members and provide continuous coaching and training to teammates.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
