We are currently seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join Air C2 and Sensors software department in San Diego, California. What you will do: The C2 SW product team uses DevSecOps processes and best industry practices to provide mission critical applications and platform services to meet the threats of today and tomorrow. Design, develop, and test software updates existing software baseline to drive C2 capabilities forward Software development and deployment using Agile methods, SW pipeline, and containerized deployments Maintain Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems. Work onsite at San Diego, CA Qualifications you must have: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including experience in Software Development and Deployment
At least 5 years of experience with Java, containerized deployments (including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), Gitlab.
Experience in analysis, design, and integration with software development and deployment.
Experience in integration and troubleshooting issues.
Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
Experience working with automated testing and continuous integration and deployment.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred). This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Home RTX The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
