The Opportunity:
In this role you will:

Take a project from paper design through construction and into commissioning.

Effectively communicate with the client's stake holders and managers, contractors, and subcontractors

Manage the start-up, commissioning, and hand over of lab/office building systems like HVAC systems, emergency power and UPS systems, labs gases, RODI water, boilers, steam generators, etc.

Walk the construction sites, identifying field issues and presenting solutions. This position will spend at least 50% time in the field working with the TI Contractor.

Take part in all daily planning meetings, making and documenting observations.

Prepare daily reports and photo documentation of the progress.

Review all construction site safety documents like work permits, task plans, job hazard analyses. Work with the client's project specific EHS team to review all safety documents.

Work on multi-employer sites (more than one contractor on a single construction site).

Review technical submissions from Architectural and Engineering firms like MEP drawings, structural drawings, specifications for construction procedures and materials.

Respond to common construction communications like RFIs, Submittals, etc.

Assist with preparing the job start-up and close-out checklists

Assist in completing the handover plan, ensuring documentation is completed and expectations are met on time and with quality

We would love to hear from you if you:

Have a minimum of 10 years project management experience working on large scale projects

Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline

Have experience with software like Procore, E-Builder, Prolog, etc

Have a project management professional certification or are seeking one. We can help

Are detail oriented and quality focused

Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing

Excel in a collaborative and friendly team environment

Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun

The salary offered for this role is between $159,000 and $186,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on skill set, education and experience.
