Position Summary: This position is responsible for producing monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies derived from various materials such as hybridoma cultures or animal serum. Basic tissue culture and purification responsibilities include performing cell culture work, antibody purification, conjugation, and associated quality control steps including purity analysis, isotype testing, mycoplasma detection, and specificity measurement by assigned methods. Detailed project documentation, data entry and report preparation are also required. In addition, efforts for technical troubleshooting, inventory and laboratory maintenance will be expected to support team.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Tissue Culture Function: Perform cell culture activities including thawing, maintenance, freezing with sterile technique; Perform various analytical measurements to determine cell culture conditions.
Purification Function: Conduct antibody purification steps to meet required specifications; Biochemical characterization of the purified antibodies by assigned techniques such as gel electrophoresis, Elisa, and other methods
General Function: Enforce lab safety and ISO13485/cGMP quality regulations; Keep good work records following good document practices; Work data entry; Preparation reports as requested; Perform basic laboratory equipment maintenance; Maintain material, product and laboratory supply inventories;
Other duties as assigned to support the team priorities and goals; Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in good lab techniques, organizational and documentation practices.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Ability to multitask and adapt to design and experimental changes.
Desired Skills:
Proven experience in tissue culture, antibody purfication and labeling, and antibody validation; Basic knowledge of immunological assays and protein purification is preferred; Knowledge of mammalian cell culture / cell line maintenance is required; Previous experience of antibody development is a strong plus; Prior working experiences in an ISO 13485 or cGMP environment is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree with course works in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field.
