Job description

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Project Manager (PM). The PM will provide contract management, leadership and administration for personnel supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Headquarters Logistics Technical Data Department. Directly supporting the Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC) NAS North Island and Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), providing Lifecycle support for technical data products to naval aviation weapons systems and contract management support. Maintain strong working relationships with the customer/clients. Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues as required for contract efforts.
Perform oversight of technical and administrative staff efforts on tasks as directed by contract requirements. This includes the operation, maintenance, sustainment, digital distribution and delivery of NAVAIR Technical Publications utilizing online digital libraries and repositories. Manage and lead a staff of 20+ employees, including Technical Manual Librarians, Computer Systems Analyst, Logistics Analysts, Systems Analyst, IT, and Software Programmers.
Perform administrative contractual support to include tracking, collecting, filing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Contract Modifications, Task Order (TO) Modifications and associated correspondence; facilitating workload and status meetings, responding to contract requirement and data calls, prepare monthly project status reports, managing and maintaining associated employee portal.
Manage acquisition and employment of program /project resources, manage contract hours for labor, material, travel, and other direct costs. Provided costing, personnel management, oversight, and CDRL reporting. Manage and approve semi-monthly timecards across all assigned tasks and contracts.
Provide excellent support to maintain annual satisfactory or above ratings on the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) ratings throughout the life of the contract.
Required to support Alutiiq Facility maintenance upkeep efforts at 4247 Ponderosa Ave (15% of time). This includes maintaining points of contact for periodic service, upkeep and repair of HVAC, data systems, security systems, plumbing, and any other associated activities required for building upkeep and maintenance.
Payrate: $100,000 to $145,000 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: B.S. or B.A. in a Technology related field desired but not required; experience of 18 years or more in lieu of degree. Commensurate training within a US Navy/USMC data environment desirable.
Applicable military logistics experience with various aircraft products is desired. These products include Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Directives (TDs), Technical Data Packages (TDPs), Job Performance Aids (JPAs), 3D Simulations, Multimedia Files, digital graphics forms (e.g. Graphics and Wiring Diagrams for Wire Tracing and Illuminator Functionality), Project Management, Weapon System Configuration Data, and other related Logistical Data Products.
Strong communications skills required. Ability and usage of all Microsoft (MS365) products required. Must be able to brief and report daily as required for product update and delivery.
Position requires on-site attendance at company facilities and government work site. Remote work from home can be facilitated when necessary.
U.S. Citizenship status required
Must have active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
