Job description

Job Objective:

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, eDocument Management, this role handles various phases of document processing, including check processing, document scanning, archival, and supporting eDocument Analysts. Responsibilities also include handling research, subpoenas, and Client Bank (FRB) adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

Support for 26 branches, 32 departments, and 190,000 members.

Assist with troubleshooting for branch capture hardware, software, and Check 21 questions.

Manage document scanning, item processing, remote deposit capture, and check transactions.

Process daily electronic check transactions, including incoming/outgoing returns and FRB inclearings.

Handle share draft exception processing and support fraud prevention.

Respond to phone and email inquiries, ensure daily reports are accurate, and resolve balancing issues.

Process research requests and subpoenas.

Assist with scanning, indexing, and archiving documents.

Maintain and clean processing equipment.

Education & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in a financial institution.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong organizational, communication, and data entry skills.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and balance priorities.

Major Accountabilities:

Process and balance daily check files with FRB.

Handle exception reports, return items, and remote deposit reviews.

Provide support for scanning, indexing, and document archiving.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 lbs, and tolerate office noise.

Environmental Conditions:

Work performed in a standard office environment with moderate background noise.
