Job description

Our client, a leading agricultural company, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their team. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be part of the logistics department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in Shipping/Receiving, Forklift Operation, and Casual Labor, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Salinas, CA

Pay Range: $20 per hour

What's the Job?

• Well-versed in navigating our new vegetable seed warehouse.
• Ensure that the vegetable seeds are delivered at the right time, in the correct quantity, and to the appropriate location.
• Using information from the logistics system, you collect vegetable seeds with a reach truck and prepare them for your colleagues from various departments.
• Seeds delivered by others are stored back in the warehouse.
• With a handheld scanner, you record the seed batches in the system so that they can always be found.
• Carry out various other processes in and around our warehouse.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience in shipping/receiving and casual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
