The Fleet Solutions team at General Motors Financial is looking for experienced fleet account managers to join the team. As part of the value, we bring to our customers, we would like to offer real world fleet industry experience and training from fleet professionals like you! We work hands on with our customers to help them manage, analyze, and make sense of their fleet data, to optimize their operations and drive growth.
This position will be located in the Western region of The United States and following a hybrid work model. Hybrid (Combination of work from home and assigned dealer territory.)
Responsibilities:
About the role:
You as the Client Development Manager (CDM) will provide support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts through effective relationship-building within an assigned territory. You will ensure timely implementations of all customer programs to exceed customer expectations, service and quality standards, and position GM Financial Fleet Solutions as the leader in our industry, ultimately building value and enhancing the customer experience.

In this role you will:
You know the game. You have a broad knowledge of fleet management concepts, operational management products, fleet data insights and vehicles that has been developed with over 2 years of fleet industry experience.
You can communicate with the best of them. You can write professional and concise emails and are just as comfortable conversing with clients over the phone or virtually. You have proven that you are a strong presenter that can effectively communicate business concepts and solutions, that initiate action, to a C-Suite audience.
You are flexible & organized. You thrive at both working by yourself and as part of a team. You can manage your time efficiently and ask for help when needed.
You have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills You succeed at building strong and loyal relationships with both internal team members and customers through active listening, showing empathy, conflict resolution, collaboration and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
What makes you a dream candidate?
Develop and implement sales strategies through a comprehensive understanding of customers business models and goals
Identify customer challenges and leverage analytical tools available to implement solutions to create opportunities
Make sales calls and presentations to customers to develop and meet objectives such as cost reduction, vehicle replacement, ancillary penetration and utilization, business growth and other performance metrics
Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers including facilitating customer onboarding, quarterly and annual business reviews, and providing recommendations and insight
Develop and deepen our relationships by establishing a network of key decision-makers and executives within assigned portfolio of accounts
Exhibit excellent customer service and act as a liaison between dealers and customers for any service discrepancies
Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
Aggressively pursue customers using networking, customer referrals, etc
Maintain and grow expertise of GMF service offerings
Track account-related activity and opportunities within Salesforce
Strive to outperform expectations with a positive attitude
Engage in continuous learning opportunities
Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
4-6 years of experience in a sales role within Fleet Industry required
4-6 years of experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within the Fleet Industry preferred

Compensation: Competitive salary and annual incentive; this role is eligible for phone/internet allowance and company vehicle program
Work Life Balance: This is a field-based role, independent scheduling but face-to-face role meeting with multiple dealerships daily
Salary:
The base salary range for this role is: USD $88,000.00 to $(phone number removed).
At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits on day one of employment.
