JOURNEYMAN BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN / PAINTER:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Journeyman Body Shop Technician / Painter, you will perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6- 8 trucks, including performing pre/post repair washes, bodywork, replacement of parts, installs on new trucks, and other minor repairs as assigned as well as all facets of the painting process including finish matching, painting, mixing, tinting and blending. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself working alongside other trained Technicians in a body shop that has all the support and resources you need to perform top-notch work on heavy trucks.
WHAT YOU NEED:
5 or more years of experience performing repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks.
Self-motivation and
Ability to work under little or no supervision.
Driver's license with a good driving record. A CDL is preferred, but not required.
Must understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, and OSHA Right-to-Know.
Axalta certification is a plus!
Having your own tools is a plus, but not required.
Compensation: $40-47/hr (Depending on Experience)
