As our Assistant Compliance Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance and regulatory adherence across our facilities.

As the Assistant Compliance Director, you will have the opportunity to:


Lead Compliance Initiatives: Work closely with leadership to set strategic goals, develop and implement compliance policies, and ensure all protocols are adhered to.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance our compliance procedures to meet and exceed state, federal, and CARF standards.

Be the Audit Expert: Prepare for and conduct audits, ensuring that our organization is always ready to meet JCAHO, CARF, and DHCS requirements.

Support Our Mission: Collaborate with program managers to implement necessary guidelines, fostering an environment that prioritizes client safety and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with leadership on compliance issues and set strategic implementation goals.
  • Monitor and improve daily compliance requirements across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to state, CARF, and payer regulations.
  • Lead the preparation and facilitation of DHCS, CDSS, and CARF audits.
  • Provide guidance on health and safety procedures to enhance client care.
  • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate overall compliance performance.
  • Mentor and support the compliance team, driving professional development.


What We're Looking For:


  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer/Manager or equivalent role.
  • Deep knowledge of the behavioral health industry's legal rules and guidelines.
  • Experience with CARF, JCAHO, and DHCS compliance and survey processes.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement effective compliance strategies.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and business software (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Organizational Leadership is a plus.

Schedule:


  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%





Qualifications:


  • CARF or JCAHO experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Experience in a behavioral health setting: 4 years (Preferred)
  • CA DHCS compliance experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Master's degree (Preferred)

Compensation details: 28-32 Hourly Wage
