We produce a variety of written content, including blogs, web copy, email campaigns, and social media posts, and we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Proofreader to ensure all content is polished, error-free, and aligned with our clients' brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit a wide range of digital content (blog posts, web copy, social media posts, etc.) for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors.
• Ensure Consistency: Maintain consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all content pieces while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and client preferences.
• Content Optimization: Suggest edits for clarity, flow, and readability to enhance the overall quality of the content, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.
• Collaborate with Writers: Work closely with the content team to provide constructive feedback and support the creation of high-quality, compelling content.
• Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of facts, dates, and statistics to ensure content is reliable and trustworthy.
• SEO Awareness: Ensure that SEO best practices are maintained in content where necessary, including correct usage of keywords and meta descriptions.
• Content Tracking: Keep track of the proofreading progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Strong proofreading and editing skills with an excellent command of English grammar and punctuation
• Experience in proofreading digital marketing content, such as blogs, articles, web copy, and social media posts
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle errors in both writing and formatting
• Familiarity with SEO and how it impacts content is a plus
• Proficiency in editing tools like Grammarly, Google Docs, or Microsoft Word
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
• Experience in or knowledge of digital marketing is a bonus but not required
