Job description

Nature and Scope:
The Administrative Assistant to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) provides essential administrative support to facilitate the efficient operation of the nursing department. This role involves managing the CNO's schedule, coordinating communications, and assisting in various administrative tasks related to nursing operations and quality improvement initiatives.

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation:
Compensation Philosophy:

We have 6 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience.

Compensation Range:

$23.89 - $ 30.49 / hour

Job Status / Shift Information:
Full-time, the shift is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications:
Education:

Current CPR certification

One (1) year of office experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and hospital processes.

Good telephone, supply management, and excellent organizational skills

Efficient time management, attention to detail, quality focus, professionalism, productivity, team player, and customer service focus.

Ability to effectively work within medical record software

Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA procedures.

Must meet physical requirements as stated on job description addendum

Responsibilities:
Manage the CNO's calendar, scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel. Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, ensuring professional and timely communication.

Attend meetings to take minutes, prepare reports, and distribute relevant materials. Assist in preparing agendas and follow-up documentation.

Conduct chart audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and assist in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Assist in managing forms, policies, and procedures, participating in committees such as the Policy Committee to ensure adherence to organizational standards.

Produce and format documents, presentations, and reports. Maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of historical data and reports.
