Our client, a leader in the biotechnology industry, is seeking a Formulation Technician I to join their team. As a Formulation Technician I, you will be part of the Production and Industrial Department supporting the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Formulation Technician I

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Pay Range: $23.25/hr
Shift: (Mon-Fri, 6:00AM - 2:30PM).

What's the Job?

1. Manufacture custom oligonucleotides by following established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Operate semi-automated and automated lab equipment to process biotech products.
3. Evaluate and troubleshoot non-routine test results to ensure product quality, determining whether to fail or continue production.
4. Provide feedback on lab processes and suggest improvements to techniques, protocols, and equipment usage.
5. Accurately complete documentation and manage production tasks to meet output goals efficiently.

What's Needed?

1. 1 year of lab experience (can be gained through work or school).
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
3. Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Word.
4. Experience working safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
5. Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple areas within the manufacturing work cells.
