We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager/Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects, including commercial tenant improvements and residential single-family homes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and development through to final completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring that all work is completed according to the project timeline, budget, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, making critical decisions as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, and to address any potential risks or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their satisfaction with the project's progress and outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial tenant improvements and single-family home construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Not for New York City Applicants.
