Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our waste and recycling operations. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee collections, container delivery, and pickups for commercial, industrial, and residential customers. This role involves managing a team of dispatchers, drivers, and support staff, ensuring smooth and efficient route management.

Key Responsibilities:

• As the Operations Manager, build strong relationships with community, environmental, and government groups.
• Develop and maintain a productive workplace culture focused on safety, growth, and best practices.
• Oversee personnel management, including hiring, coaching, and evaluating employees in the role of Operations Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards as the Operations Manager.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations, preferably in a position similar to Operations Manager.
• Strong relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with OSHA, DEP, and DEC regulations.
