Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates all daily parts and accessories distribution center related business within assigned distribution center in the areas of: Communication Logistics Support Risk Management Monitors daily reports to ensure stability of distribution center performance. Provides feedback and direction to 3PL provider to improve warehouse efficiencies. Reports daily/weekly/monthly to operations group on distribution performance. Oversees 3PL provider to ensure operations are in compliance with KMC operational policies. Oversees returns process for all inbound dealer, distributor, internal issue, and employee returns. Reconciles miss pick/short ship RFC's. Coordinates all out-of-scope (ad hoc) operational activities with distribution center. Coordinates warehouse supply needs with distribution centers, track usage, and challenge cost reduction. Communicates inbound load projections and work with PDC and reconcile receipts not in transit. Monitors and audits item suspensions. Monitors and audits cycle count discrepancies. Initiates and processes freight claims. Initiates and process freight call tags. Coordinates recycled parts bin returns and processing. Represents Kawasaki's Distribution Operation department and provides quality customer service. Handles direct communication from dealers, distributors and internal departments on a daily basis regarding missing and requests for replacement accessory components and hardware. Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred; and minimum five years related experience and/or training in distribution operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Produces results quickly and the accuracy of your work is irreproachable. knowledge and experience working with Microsoft's Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software. Brings energy and enthusiasm to group or team efforts. Some travel required. Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $73,000.00
