Job description

Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Lead in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Maintenance Lead you will:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, motor controls, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and pumps.
• HVAC is a plus.
• Generate and maintain accurate reports on maintenance activities, including work orders, downtime, and expenditures.
• Inspect and listen to machines to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs.
• Disassemble machinery to access and repair problem areas.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Assign tasks and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in technical skills and work ethics.

This is a full time opportunity. Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Work with and support the maintenance manager.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and pumps.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and problem-solving.
• Ability to operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: $35.00 or DOE
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
