Summary:

The main function of a product manager is to maximize sales, revenue, market share and profit margins by leading a team to deliver a product. The typical product manager guides the delivery of a product through its life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

This person will drive customer connection and drive sales conversion activities using customer service chat bots/ agents

Internalize and deeply understand Client's mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the eCommerce team

Author user stories, acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects.

Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with cross-functional internal teams as well as external partners to execute.

Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.

Be data centric to make informed product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, A/B Testing, customer behavior, customer contact ticket analysis or other business metrics. Solicit and embrace critical feedback

Will work closely with customer service, engineering, UX designers, Marketing and Site Merchandising team

Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process

Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Knowledge of software engineering, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective product delivery.

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, resource allocation, and production methods.

Experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products with your fingerprints all over them which you're extremely proud of what you've accomplished.

A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on

Finger-tipsiness with data: you just go get the data you need with no muss/fuss and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis

A never-ending desire to learn and grow

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

5-7 years' experience in relevant field required. Minimum 2-3 years of Product Management plus hands-on software engineering experience strongly preferred

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
