Job description

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced CSR to support their dispatch office. This role involves managing dispatch operations, booking loads online, and handling brokerage loads. The successful candidate will be resourceful, with strong people skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: Mira Loma, CA
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

What's the Job?

  • Book loads on the internet and manage brokerage loads.
  • Provide support to the dispatch office in the absence of regular staff.
  • Train in the Billing department once fully trained in dispatch/CSR functions.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and be a dependable team player.
  • Be flexible with work hours, including the possibility of starting earlier or staying later.

What's Needed?
  • Proven experience in a dispatch or CSR role.
  • Hands-on experience in booking brokerage loads is needed.
  • A background in dispatch offices or the trucking business is preferred; familiarity with job functions is required.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including QuickBooks (for billing), Excel, and typing (minimum 40 wpm).
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong people skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience in warehousing/3PL/transportation environments is highly beneficial.
  • Must have a strong attendance record and be capable of multitasking.
  • Candidates must be prepared to present their CDL upon starting.
  • A typing test will be conducted before and during the interview to verify minimum typing speed requirements.
  • Knowledge of the operations of TMS systems is required.
