Job Title: Operator II - 2nd Shift
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: 12 months

Job Type: Non-Exempt (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operator II to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift
As an Operator II, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell
This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble medical devices and components, following documented procedures
  • Operate various equipment and machinery, including electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging
  • Clean tools and equipment, and dispose of hazardous waste materials
  • Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies
  • Conduct tests using computerized test equipment
  • Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools
  • Package devices ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize safety devices/equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives
  • Communicate with supervisors/leads on supply needs and production difficulties
  • Collaborate on setting and monitoring individual/cell performance metrics
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures (6th-grade level)
  • Basic math skills (6th-grade level)
  • Effective communication and verbal instruction skills in English
  • Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and computer software packages
  • Good dexterity for handling small components
  • Ability to prioritize work, make critical decisions, and work with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
  • Controlled cleanroom environment (depending on work area)
  • Use of microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding
  • Exposure to hazardous materials (with proper safety precautions
