What are we looking for in our Growth Marketing Analyst?

Job Title: Growth Marketing Analyst

Location: Menlo Park, San Francisco, Austin, New York, or Fully Remote

Duration: 3 Month W2 Contract
Pay: $50-$60/hour depending on experience

Overview: The Small Business Group (SBG) is dedicated to connecting small businesses globally with their customers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, and supporting their growth through various tools like pages, advertising, and messaging. Success is achieved by helping these businesses thrive.

The SBG Marketing Channels team is seeking a Growth Marketing Analyst to support digital marketing campaign execution. The ideal candidate will have experience building marketing journeys in automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred), a passion for digital marketing, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Responsibilities include end-to-end campaign execution, automation configuration, content build, audience signal assembly, marketing materials QA, and stakeholder project management. This role covers campaigns across email, Facebook Ads, and onsite channels, and may involve basic landing pages and QA of marketing materials before launch.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage digital marketing campaigns, including Facebook Ads, SEM, display, and email.
  • Utilize commercial marketing automation tools, with a preference for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ensure high quality of marketing automation campaigns through meticulous QA.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, including automation setup, content creation, audience segmentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and implement global B2B or B2C digital multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Apply email marketing best practices and strategies.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Understand and navigate large digital marketing systems.
  • Build and manipulate content using CMS tools (e.g., Knak, Hubspot, Dreamweaver).
  • Prioritize and manage projects using tools like Monday, Trello, or Jira.
  • Utilize basic HTML for email content manipulation and basic SQL for segmentation building.

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing campaign management.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA skills in marketing automation.
  • Proven project management abilities with strict deadlines.
  • Experience with global digital marketing strategies for B2B or B2C.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic HTML and SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with CMS tools and project management software.
