Business Finance Analyst
Do you have experience in Financial Analysis and Human Services, and want to work for a company that positively impacts the wellbeing of the individuals it serves? In the Business Finance Analyst role, you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by auditing all areas of the finance operations to discover inefficiencies and recommending improvements to the business model.
Salary: 67,000 to 68,500 Annually
Hybrid Schedule - 1 day in office/4 remote. Must be flexible to be in office as needed.
Must be able to commute to Bakersfield office.
- Financial Reporting - Performs monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of financial results for the State, Regions, Areas and cost center.
- Budgeting - Prepares financial plans in accordance with strategic plans and corporate targets.
- Field Finance Liaison - Provides assistance to corporate finance and accounting staff with the development of systems and approaches that address company requirements and are responsive and sensitive to field needs
- Understand the business process management of the company to learn the strengths and weaknesses of the company's financial situation
- Design an alternative business process workflow, implement the solutions, and supervise the execution process
- Get feedback/comments on alternative business process and act upon them
- Stay up-to-date with developments in relevant software in the field Identify the areas for improvements and business issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar
- 3-5 years of related experience in Finance: reporting, budgeting, etc.
- Must be highly organized and independent
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Learn the strengths and weaknesses of the company's financial situation, investigate data and implement solutions
- Advanced in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.)
- Knowledge of Power BI
- iServe, Smartsheet, SalesForce, Dayforce, Zycus experience is a plus
- VBA experience, minimum of 2 years
- GAAP experience, a plus
