Overview:
Position Summary:
-The primary job function is to conduct protective and constructive audit assessments for management to review effectiveness of local audit controls and operations for the material damage division, as well as team member performance of material damage personnel, branches, and units.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
• Examines material damage claims records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable claims policies and procedure through accessing audits.
• Prepares reports of findings including suggesting the revision of audit scores and recommendations for improvement or change for problem areas.
• Incumbents may have varying levels of claims expertise and knowledge. Audits files utilizing material damage auditing guidelines, techniques and processes.
• Under general supervision, travels to various offices to deliver or assist with material damage training with an emphasis on material field and total loss handling, on an "as needed" basis.
• Under material damage unit operations direction, conducts protective and constructive audit assessments for management to review effectiveness of local audit controls and operations for the material damage division, as well as team member performance of material damage personnel, branches, and units.

Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree required

Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Successful completion of the in-house training program required.

Pay Range:
USD $20.35 - USD $35.64 /Hr.
