Overview:
The successful Project Manager- Supply Chain must have a thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply principles of Project Management, supply chain methodology, financial analysis, and costing. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with Stakeholders and suppliers and gather client requirements and negotiate their support requirements. Assist in project planning, process mapping, negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions. Assist in the development of project management and procurement solutions to best support project requirements consistent with program and company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:

Frequent engagement with multiple organizational leaders and Stakeholders.

Analyze and assist with Process Mapping and Demand Planning.

Maintain consistent interaction with suppliers and ensures adherence to established contracts.

Integrate work across relevant areas, developing strategies to enhance productivity, manage information and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Assess work activities for consolidation opportunities.

Develop metrics to monitor area of responsibility, gaps and implementing action plans to remediate.

Purchase Orders management, Change Order management, and Request for Proposals across various categories.

Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:
Required Skills/Attributes

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, preferred

Seven (7) or more years of experience in purchasing, contract management and/or negotiating contracts.

Five (5) or more years of experience negotiating contracts for software, hardware, professional services, and end-user licensing agreements.

Demonstrated knowledge of Demand Planning

Ability to conduct root cause analysis

Ability to present recommendations and other communications regularly to all levels of the organization.

Experience with sourcing Technology related categories, managing cybersecurity in the supply chain, and with Agile Procurement and Project Management.

Participate in supplier risk assessments.

Conduct supplier performance reviews and cross-functional improvement teams.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.

Employ project management tools to analyze and manage supplier performance, including technical, quality, cost and schedule.

Experience with SAP.

Negotiating with service providers.

The successful candidate must have a basic knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply principles of financial analysis, activity based costing and supply chain methodology.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including oral presentations, formal correspondence and contractual documentation, group facilitation, and negotiations.

Desired Skills/Attributes

Certificate in Project Management (PMP).

Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:
The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $(phone number removed).The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
