WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG's North America Consulting Team (NAMR CT) Leadership Coaching team's purpose is to deliver best-in-class corporate coaching experiences/expertise against various levels of BCG business need. We believe deeply in, and act toward:
- Awakening awareness within self and system(s)
- Enabling empowered, integrative behavior change and actions
- Transformations that support individual goals, business priorities, and BCG's purpose of creating value for clients and society
- Provide top quality coaching to NAMR CT staff
- "Direct" coaching of NAMR CT staff, including
- Coaching a highly diverse group of consultants, spanning the US, Canada, and Mexico, across different levels and functional areas
- Coaching within and across our portfolio of 6+ core strategic offerings, using best-practice foundations specific to each offering
- Offerings include: new manager group coaching, communications and presence group coaching, business-sponsored one-on-one engagements
- Common topics include: navigating big transitions, confidence in communications, sustainable performance
- "Indirect" coaching activities that support the above, as well as contributes deeply to your own and the team's coaching development, quality, and impact. For example
- Accelerate our team's vision, priorities, and impact by proactively bringing external or other internal information (trends, best practices, etc)
- Build individual and team learning through proactive sharing of coaching expertise, experiences, and challenges
- Maintain timely and accurate coaching data in team systems
- Continuously improve offerings, and/or support pilot design
- "Direct" coaching of NAMR CT staff, including
- Lead and/or support strategic coaching-related business priorities
- Develop and maintain an understanding of our function's "business of coaching", including the purpose, goals, priorities of not only our team, but also of NAMR L&D and the many other systems we live and coach within
- Provide effective leadership of 1+ and support to 2+ strategic efforts
- Generally, support the purpose, brand, and evolution of coaching and L&D
- Be a BCG and internal corporate coaching role model
- Uphold BCG values and business needs
- Represent BCG well and protect the firm's interests
- Engage in NAMR L&D and local BCG office activities
- Proactively and regularly seek and act on feedback - coaching and otherwise
- alongside internal corporate coaching integrity, mindsets, behaviors, and heart
- Maintain ICF ethical standards
- Maintain team's coaching policies and standards
- Appropriately direct coachees to BCG/other professional resources when values, personal wellbeing, or other issues are surfaced through coaching
- Uphold BCG values and business needs
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Coaching, of course! Extra call-outs for
- Proven track-record of executing a variety of coaching modalities and offerings with consistently strong feedback and impact
- Experience and comfort with "true" group coaching
- Ability to empathize with, and build credibility, across a highly diverse set of coachees and business leaders
- Applying coaching skills outside of coaching sessions, e.g. teaching coaching skills, designing coach-approach trainings, using coaching skills to develop strong relationships
- Commitment to personal professional development, and industry innovation (eg AI)
- Business and systems thinking, including
- Ability to understand big pictures, interdependencies, and how to connect the dots - moving beyond the obvious
- Strong corporate coaching mindset, including personal alignment to holding both business and individual as the client
- Interest in and ability to manage the tensions and challenges of internal corporate coaching, toward serving the acceptance and implementation of change within others and/or the system
- Personal comfort with adapting to ever-changing, continuously innovating environments
- Interdependent ownership (vs independence), including
- Strong understanding of how your work fits into complex business contexts
- Ability to apply team principles effectively, and with integrity, to new business needs
- Expert work management of multiple offerings, projects, conversations
- Proper judgment of when and how to share clear and timely information on direction, strategies and effort; seeking assistance as appropriate

Requirements:
- Masters or ICF PCC-level coaching training and accreditation
- Corporate coaching experience
- BS/BA required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of corporate coaching experience and/or internal corporate coaching experience
- Prior experience in professional services or fast-paced corporate environment(s)
- Experience coaching diverse sets of clients
- Experience in coaching various levels of staff in large, dynamic, and complex environments
- Specialized coaching training and experience, eg group coaching, adult development, Leadership Circle Profile, MBTI
- Passion and experience for facilitating coaching-related trainings

- Leadership Coaching leadership, including the Director and operations manager
- Fellow coaches - on this team, from other BCG coaching teams, and/or from vendors
- NAMR and Global L&D colleagues, as well as NAMR and/or local business leaders, depending on assigned priorities/projects
- Our highly diverse Consulting Team staff, spanning the US, Canada, and Mexico, across different levels and functional areas
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Format
At BCG, our people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that in-person work is essential to our culture, mentorship, and professional development. That's why we operate on a hybrid model, with the expectation that team members will be in the office 3 to 5 days per week. This role is designed for those who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is not intended for remote or virtual work.
Compensation
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
- The base salary is between $138,000- $168,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-20%
- 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
- Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children
- Low $10 (USD) copays for trips to the doctor, urgent care visits and prescriptions for generic drugs
- Dental coverage, including up to $5,000 in orthodontia benefits
- Vision insurance with coverage for both glasses and contact lenses annually
- Reimbursement for gym memberships and other fitness activities
- Fully vested Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contributions made annually, whether you contribute or not, plus the option for employees to make personal contributions to a 401(k) plan
- Paid Parental Leave and other family benefits such as elective egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement
- Generous paid time off including 12 holidays per year, an annual office closure between Christmas and New Years, and 15 vacation days per year (earned at 1.25 days per month)
- Paid sick time on an as needed basis
