Director of Gift Planning



UCLA's donors who have chosen to remember the University through various planned gifts are a special group. A group whose philanthropic vision has looked ahead to the needs of future generations and ensured excellence campus-wide. UCLA's Gift Planning team is highly experienced, creative, and leaders in the field, regularly closing complex planned gift arrangements and gifts of 7- and 8-figures. Working from a strong donor base, UCLA more than doubled its number of bequests intentions during the Centennial Campaign and is poised to do it again in the next campaign. As the Director of Gift Planning, you will be working alongside the Senior Executive Director, one of the leaders in the gift planning industry, and given the opportunity to represent the top public school in the country with incredible brand recognition that is synonymous with excellence - including 16 Nobel Laureates, 17 MacArthur Fellows and 123 NCAA championships. Working as part of UCLA's world renowned fundraising team, you will qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward planning giving donors to increase gifts to programs campus-wide as well as grow our overall donor base. Your ability to develop creative strategies to secure gifts and engage donors will further UCLA's mission and priorities as the No. 1 public university in the United States.
