Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is searching for a Semiconductor Product Engineer to join the 3D Integration and Imaging Sensors Center in Lompoc. Candidates should have semiconductor wafer processing, team leadership and project management knowledge. This position will lead multifunctional teams to drive advanced Focal Plane Arrays (FPA) and 3DHI technology development programs and IRaD efforts at the RVS Lompoc 200mm Silicon wafer fabrication facility. Specifically, the Product Engineer will be responsible for the overall technical plan and management of design, manufacture, test, and delivery of visible FPA, 3D integration and/or MEMS programs. Candidate should be capable of leading small teams and working closely with Integrated Product Team Leads and Program Managers to ensure engineering requirements are defined and understood, risks/opportunities are managed, and schedules/budgets are met. This role will work under limited supervision while exercising responsibility in determining and meeting the technical, financial, and schedule objectives of projects. As a Product Engineer, decisions are data driven in nature and require preparing technical justification analysis reports as well as presenting to a variety of Engineering and Program Review Boards. What You Will Do: Supporting semiconductor wafer processing in a cleanroom environment. Understand and analyze data related to semiconductor device performance. Work with Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) Work with failure analysis techniques such as 8D and Root Cause & Corrective Action reporting. Handling Bids and Proposals. Team Leadership and project planning. Prepare Technical writings. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM related degree and a minimum of 8 years in Product Engineering related experience or an advanced degree with 5 years in Product Engineering related experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a government US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Knowledge of readout Integrated Circuit (ROIC) Design & Operation. Knowledge of Design Verification Techniques, SiPIN detector fabrication and operation and Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material Control Proficient in Microsoft Project application, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint applications and Earned Value Management Systems. Knowledge of Performance metrics specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing) and Process Yields and Analysis. This position is an onsite role - Lompoc, CA: Visit RVS : The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
