We are working with an incredible experiential education provider (similar to a hands-on internship) to find an Education Program Manager(link removed) They began as a non-profit with a mission to provide practical and highly affordable education to underserved pre-healthcare/medical students. It s a unique program we all wish we went through that bridges the gap between academic training and real life.





You ll be responsible for oversight of 100-400 students, and the programs range from 15-36 months, involve hands-on learning in hospitals and outpatient facilities where students can work side-by-side with nurses, doctors, and administration, and can be as inexpensive as a couple hundred dollars a year.





Don t worry if you haven t been in a role like this before- we are looking for a leader who s passionate about education, has the unique and dynamic personality needed to engage with students one day, and with C-level executives the next, and is comfortable reaching-out to schools to partner with. Summary:



The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations at the learning sites, ensuring all client and contractual obligations are met, including client and participant satisfaction, recruitment and performance metrics, training curriculum, compliance and more.





Your time will be spent balancing the following Responsibilities:






  • Student Recruitment/Enrollment (40-50%): You will be responsible for attaining a specific program enrollment target




  • Develop partnerships with referral sources for potential students such as High Schools, Colleges, Networking & Career Events, etc.

  • Partner with marketing team to develop social media and other outreach campaigns

  • Perform presentations and talks at school campuses and events

  • Actively engage with students and discuss joining the program






  • Operations (30-40%): Achieve P&L objectives and maintain a smoothly operating program




  • Manage a $200,000/yr P&L

  • Collaborate with Hospital CSuite to optimize program results

  • Ensure compliance with hospital requirements

  • Oversight and coordination of education programs






  • Leadership (20%): Management of Student Volunteers




  • You will be incharge of managing and mentoring a team of 5-50 volunteer leaders who are helping you run the program

  • Doing 1on-1 mentorship with students & leaders

Absolutely Must-Have prior experience in one of the following settings:




  • Supervisor or Manager role (any industry)

  • Vocational School Admissions or College Recruitment

  • A background working in some form of Education that serves students in a staff or administration role





This will be a match made in heaven if you also:




  • Have prior experience working with or speaking to college or high school students

  • Done public speaking

  • Have a background working in healthcare

  • Have worked in the Education industry
