Application Developer (DevOps) needed for a Contract opportunity with SOC's client to work Remote. Contract Length: 12 months, possibility to extend Candidates must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this role. Responsibilities: • Work with internal stakeholders, external customers, and users to design and maintain custom software solutions to meet their operational needs • Work on interactive design projects that meet both user and operational objectives, while maintaining and supporting brand standards • Evolve and help promote our Solution and Systems • Practice and facilitate Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking) methodologies • Develop highly available and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers Essential Requirements: • 8+ years of IT professional services consulting or application development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and formal software development training and/or equivalent experience. • Strong proficiency in C# and another programming language (e.g., React, JavaScript, Python, GO, C++). • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Solid experience with GitOps principles and tools (e.g., Argo CD, Flux). • Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Most work will be performed remotely, but there could be up to 30% travel required. Desirable Requirements: • Experience with and application of DevSecOps principles and/or tools. • Exposure to standards like IRIG 106 (CH10, CH4, CH8, 1553, ARINC429), DARv3, TMATS, as well as SQL standards. Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and d rug urinalysis. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
