Position Summary:
Maintain key business metrics in accordance with ITT requirements. Develop sustainable processes and procedures that ensure accuracy and integrity of management reporting and analysis. Contribute to the credibility of the Finance Dept through timeliness, accuracy, reliability, team spirit, and value-added internal customer service. Respond quickly and accurately to ad-hoc management requests. Utilize financial knowledge to contribute to operational and financial goals of the Company as a whole. Support a culture of compliance and ethics. This position will require hands on support in all aspects of accounting department including general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, A/R, A/P, inventory, costing, general accounting and month end closing processes.

Essential Responsibilities:
Support month end closing process in a compressed 2 day closing including posting journal entries and account reconciliation completion in compliance with company policy.

Support the compilation of the Month end reporting package of actuals vs forecast and be able to explain variances.

Track departmental spending and address cost control measure to align with Budget. Create partnership with functional department to monitor spending. Review account and cost center designation of purchase requisition and release based on compliance with DOA approval.

Responsible with working capital initiative including AR past due collection, working with Customer directly to resolve dispute, assist & coordinate collection effort with our AR shared service department, monitoring of cash receipt position and reporting on weekly AR Collection on a weekly basis.

Support as needed on ADP payroll interface and ensure accuracy in the payroll data including verification of hours worked in our Dimension timekeeping system, posting of fringe benefit reserve, vacation, accrual, bonus accrual, etc.

Perform General accounting duties including review and validation of intercompany allocation, charges , expenses, account reconciliation and substantiation.

Coordinate with Functional department to align headcount reporting including projection on open position, termination, active and temporary headcount.

Responsible for validation/reconciliation of Fixed Assets including review of Gross Book Value vs Net Book Value, Construction in Progress and Depreciation. Ensure that asset are designated with proper Fixed Asset number, cost center designation and Fixed Asset classification. Lead the annual Fixed Asset physical inventory as per our control matrix.

Assist with Standard costing and clearing of zsalq items.

Assist with SAP User access review for SOX compliance.

Perform user acceptance testing for system changes for migration to production environment

Collaborate closely with finance and accounting staff to support financial reporting and audit requirements.

Support as need the Load of forecast into our One Stream Financial Software for actuals / budget/forecast and perform data validation and present preliminary reports for review

Willingness to understand business processes in different functional areas and work as a business partner to facilitate reporting of key financial data on a regular basis

Streamline processes that impacts finance productivity & efficiency & cost controls.

Ability to represent finance effectively and to communicate accurately and with precision while working on inter-departmental projects.

Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley audits both internal and external as required.

Escalate issues of critical impact to Company goals, ethics, and compliance to Finance management team

Perform data extraction and organization to provide meaningful analysis as requested by management

Create, maintain databases to improve efficiency of data collection and reporting

Contribute to the development and maintenance of necessary models, tools, processes and procedures to achieve efficient and effective analysis

Perform ad hoc reporting & requirements as needed.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

2+ year SAP experience or similar ERP system

Manufacturing background is preferred

Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting at a mid to senior level

Ability to manage work load, multi task, work under pressure, streamline processes and work under minimal supervision

Must have in-depth professional knowledge of accounting concepts, manufacturing systems, cost accounting , and financial planning

Problem solving, critical thinking, resourcefulness and creativity skills are essential

Full understanding of multiple system interface and flow of transactions.

Ability to interact and communicate with various levels of the organizations.

Strong work ethic, high standards for work product, dedication, honesty and integrity

Must be a self-motivated, initiative to learn and willing to work in a fast paced environment

Excellent PC skills including advanced Excel and other MS Office applications and working knowledge of ERP systems

Excellent oral, written communications

Equal Pay Act Range:
