Location; Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join the team and help design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce development, including custom Apex coding, Visualforce page creation, and Lightning component development. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions within the Salesforce platform.

Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

Design and implement Salesforce workflows, triggers, and process builders to automate business processes.

Create and manage Salesforce integrations with external systems via APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.

Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Customize and extend Salesforce functionalities, including objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules.

Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure quality and performance.

Participate in Salesforce upgrades, feature rollouts, and maintenance activities.

Document technical designs, best practices, and implementation strategies.

Stay current on Salesforce platform updates, tools, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce Lightning.

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and sharing mechanisms.

Proven experience writing custom triggers, batch classes, asynchronous jobs, and complex Apex logic.

Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce page development.

Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST / SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), or other integration tools.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration options, such as custom objects, fields, validation rules, and workflows.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Salesforce code for performance and scalability.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines for Salesforce.

Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and administrators.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

Salesforce Developer certification or Platform App Builder certification preferred.

Experience with Salesforce Communities / Experience Cloud development.

Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics or other Salesforce add-ons.

Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps tools.

Understanding of agile development methodologies.
