Onsite/Hybrid - 3 days in office (Irvine - preferred, Pasadena, Long Beach, Corona)

Summary

Account Managers provide essential support to the Account Executives to establish and nurture client relationships. In collaboration with the Account Executive, Account Managers provide comprehensive insurance coverage to clients, and ensure diligent account servicing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide crucial support to Commercial Lines Account Executives in nurturing and maintaining client relationships, both new and existing.

Collaborate with Sales Executives to understand client needs and offer comprehensive insurance coverage options.

Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

In partnership with the service team, ensure the accurate and timely processing of policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and other administrative tasks related to assigned accounts.

Take charge of policy renewals, negotiating terms with underwriters, and addressing coverage gaps or changes as necessary.

Collaborate with the Account Executives to develop and execute strategies to meet business objectives and revenue targets.

Assist in preparing and presenting insurance proposals and presentations to clients.

Assist in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account retention and growth.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to clients and Account Executives.

Maintain organized and accurate client records, documentation, and communication through the Agency Management System.

Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and service requests, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.

Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to uphold operational standards and maintain ethical business practices.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or other related fields is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial lines account management.

Hold current and valid Property and Casualty insurance license.

Hold at least one professional designation, such as CISR, CIC, CRM or other relevant programs or the ability and willingness to attain designation within 18 months.

In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policies.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct risk assessments, analyze coverage needs, and propose suitable solutions.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely policy processing and documentation.

Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and underwriters to achieve departmental and company goals.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with AMS 360 and Image Right preferred.

Proficiency in orchestrating and hosting virtual meetings using platforms like Teams and Zoom, encompassing the capability to share screens and deliver presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.).

Physical Demands

Ability to sit for extended periods and perform computer related tasks.

Must have the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.

Occasional bending, reaching, and stretching to retrieve files or items from shelves or cabinets.

Ability to operate office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers.

Work Environment

Hybrid work model, with two to three days in office and the remainder of the work week working remotely.

Remote work to be done in a professional work environment at home.

The work is performed in a climate- controlled office environment.

The office setting may have low to moderate noise levels.

The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, clients, and occasional visitors (visitors apply to office only).

Regular use of computers and other office equipment is necessary.
