Raytheon Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) is seeking a motivated, Program Chief Engineer (PCE) within the Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) / Emerging Programs (EP) product line. This new position is responsible for engineering cost, schedule, and technical execution of the program within the EP product line. The PCE reports to the EP Program Area Chief Engineer (PACE), and directly oversees the IPT Leads and engineering leadership on the program. The individual will lead a team to through hardware development and production lifecycle and will interface with customers and vendors to ensure requirements and schedule compliance. This position is an onsite role and may require occasional business-related travel. Responsibilities to Anticipate: The Program PCE is the single engineering leadership point of contact and is responsible for the engineering execution of an entire program, overseeing all technical, schedule, and financial aspects.
Establish and manage a program vision, strategy and goals to align the Program with the Customer and facilitate conflict resolution.
Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across all IPTs, CPTs, and disciplines within the Programs.
Primary product line technical POC with the customer senior technical counterparts.
Authority to manage all program engineering related activities across the program. Authority over and direct management of the lead engineers to ensure that the overall system design is optimized to meet the required performance within the project constraints (cost and schedule), and production efforts execute as planned.
Ability to independently interact and lead engagement with senior customers.
Systems and design engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to establish a strong technical baseline with disciplined change management, while operating in a rapid development environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead across a highly multi-disciplinary role, requiring experience across all design engineering disciplines, technical supplier management, business development, and program leadership.

Ability to brief internally and externally at the senior executive level. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Minimum of 12 years experience in one or more of the following: Airborne and electronic warfare (Electronic Support & Electronic Attack) systems design, use-case development and operational analysis, integration and test and system qualification.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience as a Lead Design Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, Program Chief Engineer or Integrated Product Team Lead.
Experience as Technical Lead on proposals. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in STEM. M.S. in Math, Physics, or Engineering or related technical major required, although not required.
Factory establishment and production experience.
Design experience with the Electronic Support (ES), Radar Warning Receivers (RWR), and Electronic Attack (EA) systems, or other Electronic Warfare systems of similar complexity.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate activities across multiple facilities and locations.
Results-oriented work ethic and able to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines.
Capture effort coordination and developing proposals to obtain funding, spanning technical proposal development, work breakdown structures and cost estimation.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
